A Big Day for Small Presses


Today was a big day for small presses!

The Pulitzer Prize for Fiction was awarded to Paul Harding for his book Tinkers which was published by Bellevue Literary Press, a small press operated out of the famous psychiatric hospital in New York.


Of the two finalists, one, Love in Infant Monkeys, by Lydia Millet, was published by small press Soft Skull, and the other was a short story collection titled In Other Rooms, Other Wonders by by Daniyal Mueenuddin.
